Friday Fill-in OMG It's ridiculously hot edition!!!!

It's literally going to be a zillion degrees here with the heat index and they are saying that this heat wave may last for up to the next 14 days. I'm gonna melt. It's the real reason why the Wicked Witch melted. Now you know. I'm just crossing my fingers my AC doesn't die on me.
Anyway, I am so under the school bus right now that I haven't really had time to blog. I'm relying on Wife of a Sailor's fill-in for inspiration. You can see everyone else's answers through a link from her blog.

If you could have a private concert with any singer, who would it be?  submitted by An Air Force Wife’s Blog
Gosh. I have no idea. Most people today sound atrocious in person and only have an album because people in the studio can turn crap into vocal gold. I spend a lot of my time listening to classical music anyway, so I'm drawing a blank. I pass.

During your pregnancy (whether past, present, or future), what did you nickname your unborn baby before you knew the sex?

I have no kids. So the question isn't relevant.

Have you ever won a blog giveaway?  If so what did you win?

I won Jehanne Dubrow's book Stateside in a giveaway on her blog, the Gefilte Review a couple of months ago. BTW, the book is AMAZING. She really managed to capture the feelings of what it is like to be a military spouse. I highly recommend the book!

If I looked into your refrigerator right now, what would I find? submitted by  Married to the Army
Almond milk, eggs, a potato, strawberries, nectarines, plums, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, avocado, mozzarella, oh and my seasonal favorite: CHERRIES...nom, nom, nom! Honestly though, I am looking forward to my garden coming in this year and being able to eat food I have grown.

Clearly me too. I am just so busy, and so uninterested in cooking for one that I have really found a great love for eating healthy and eating things that don't require a lot of cooking. :D
BTW, dropped by your blog. I am happy to find you. It's nice to know another professional woman and citing A Lady Scientist, ah, made me so happy. I love her too. Nerd hug. :D
