I am not going to say that I wasn't due for a cold. I've been in almost every time zone the US has this month. I was bound to get something and I did. Say hello to Mr. Sinus Infection + Bronchitis. I've not slept soundly since Thursday night (night flight home). I finally got into the doctor today and he walked in and told me I sounded terrible.
I am on bed rest for two days while I try to find the lung I coughed up. Apparently, it is pretty common to get a sinus infection when visiting HI if you are scuba diving/mountain climbing or other sorts of adventure sports that require lots of elevation changes. Our trip wasn't super extreme, but there were lots of elevation changes. Serves me right.
I am on this foul tasting, wonderful vicodin cough syrup...Joy. The first deep breath I've had in days. I'm also on this wonderful antibiotic. Life should be good soon and hopefully I will be able to use this time to edit some of the video footage I took, so you can see Maui even if you can't go to Maui.
Tomorrow the detailer will be visiting with Senior Jefe. I am crossing my fingers for something good.
