- The best thing my parents taught me to do when I was a child was _________________.
Study math and science. My Dad told me it was the key to my future. He was right, but don't tell him I said that. My Mom supported my interests by taking me to museums.
- However, one thing I wish they did differently was _________________.
I wish they had not treated me as their personal therapist/ parent. I think I would be more likely to not worry about having kids if I hadn't been placed in the position of always having to be the grown-up.
- One thing I’ve always wanted to try but haven’t is _________________.
Climbing Mt. Everest and visiting Antarctica, but I believe I can make it happen.
- One thing I never thought I’d try but I have is _________________.
There are lots of things I have tried that I didn't expect to: drinking, cigarettes, driving a fast car, owning a home, marriage (not to mention marrying someone who is in the military), visiting foreign countries, getting a PhD and the list goes on...
- If I could give my 16-year-old self one piece of advice I’d tell myself _________________.
Don't worry so much. You'll get there. You have to work hard, but you don't have to be anxiety ridden about it.

Friday Fill-in: Started my new J-O-B edition
That's right! I started my new J-O-B!! This has made me a zombie, because I work all day and then have to come home and write all night, but I can't complain. I have a great boss who is genuinely kind and the undergrad I work with is smart, funny, and laid back. The work is hard, but I don't mind working hard if the people are nice.

Glad you're enjoying your new gig! Yay! And I'm going to do this survey thing, too.
Thanks. I am really happy I decided to take the pay cut and take this job. $50 more per week to deal with crazy people just isn't worth it.
I am really happy that I landed in such a good spot. I am really lucky.
