Postcard Swap: Alabama Snow

Jessica created a postcard swap this past month over at her blog. I think it was an AWESOME idea, because I love getting mail that isn't bills, work related, or a package sent from me to me via Amazon (yes, I am that lame).

I got matched up with Renee, who sent a lovely postcard of Alabama snow. I told Senior Jefe over the phone about it and he said, "Alabama gets snow?" I lead him on for a while before I told him the truth. See for yourself:

I totally miss the cotton fields in NC. They do look like snow, so this was an extra special treat.

Renee sent me the perfect note. I totally love and miss the South. My parents can't understand why a Northern girl like myself loves the slow living, sweet people who are way to much in your business (in a good way). I am totally excited too because AL is one of  4 states I haven't been to yet: AL, MS, HI, and LA. Maybe now I will have to find a reason to go cross it off my list :D.

It has made it on to the wall of fame in the house (i.e. the top part of the fridge).
You can see it in the red box by the Tricare Dental Magnet. BTW, this image makes me realize I need to declutter the fridge :D.
Thanks again Renee! Love, love, love this Postcard.
Thanks again Jessica for hosting! We need to do this again!!

Now don't forget to link up your postcard here.

Aww, cute! I love that postcard. And I can't believe that you've been to all but 4 states. I'm impressed... that's one of my life goals, but I still have a ways to go.

Yep. We moved around a lot when I was little and I used to tell my mom I wanted to travel the world when I grew up. She told me I would have to travel to all of the US first, so I started keeping a list of every state I visit.
I am trying to knock out LA/MS for Mardi Gras. We'll see.
