1. What do you see your life like in 10 years?
Hmmm...great question. It is hard to conceptualize a life plan that far out, because nothing I have planned so far has turned out as I envisioned it. But, assuming we live in a perfect world, I would like to see Senior Jefe retired off active duty and 2 lil munchkins running around with curly hair (like me). I would like to see Senior Jefe have his dream job and I would like to have tenure at a research university where I can warp young minds.
2. What do you like most about your job?
The Adventure aspect. No questions or locations are off limits. I have seen and done so many things most people can't even imagine and I know so many people who have done even cooler things than me.
On a day to day level though, I have to say pipetting. Don't laugh. There is something very peaceful about focusing on a very small repetitive task. It leaves the mind free for contemplation.
3. What are three things you do every day, no matter what day it is?
Hit the snooze button. Make coffee. Feed and potty the dogs.
4. What would you do with an extra five hours in your day today?
Well I have so much to do right now, I guess I would get more work done.
5. What is your favorite Christmas (or whichever holiday you celebrate) cookie recipe (please share!)?
Candy Cane Cookies are AWESOME! They are also very time consuming. The recipe I linked to is the closest I can find to my Grandma's recipe. I adore these cookies. She used to make them for my birthday.

Hello, I am a new follower from the Fill-In. Love your blog and I'm very excited to read more, oh and try out your cookie recipe! Lydia
Curly-haired munchkins for the win! ;-) Should my husband and I ever be saddl--er, blessed with children, I rather hope at least one as my curly hair instead of his stick-straight stuff. They can have his perfect vision, though.
@Lydia: Thanks. Um, FYI, if you add a little extra almond flavoring, it will be closer to Grandma's cookies.
@to the Nth:Curly hair for sure. Neither of us have great eye sight, but I am banking on them ending up w/ my husband's iron clad immune system. :D
